Created towards the end of 2008, this fantastic diecast car from the Franklin Mint is based on the 2008 GT released by Ford to reflect the drama of the original 1968 Ford GT made famous by Steve mcQueen in the movie Bullitt.
This model has been released to commerorate the 40th Aniversary of Lieutenant Frank BULLITT screeching through the streets of San Fransisco.
Faithful to the original driven by McQueen, Ford designers stripped virtually all badges and insignia from the ‘08 anniversary model.
Reflecting the original, the iconic chrome pony typically displayed on the mesh grille, as well as all scoops and spoilers traditionally identified with Mustang styling are removed.
To complete the detail - the same Highland Green paint job as on the original.
Available in a strictly limited 5000 models this 1:24 scale model is a must have for movie buffs everywhere.
